
Kristine A. Tijam
Kristine Tijam joined Procter, Shyer & Winter in 2018. She handles a variety of civil litigation matters, such as personal injury, public entity defense, and habitability, among others. She has experience handling cases in state courts, federal courts, and appellate courts. Additionally, Ms. Tijam is an Adjunct Professor of Law at The Colleges of Law.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Tijam graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with minors in Education and Applied Psychology, and Asian American Studies. In 2014, she began law school at The Colleges of Law while working full-time at a workers’ compensation insurance company, first as a litigation assistant, then as a claims adjuster. She was a Dean’s Honors student and received Witkin Legal Institute awards and the highest course grade in the subjects of Torts, Legal Research, Advanced Legal Writing, Business Associations, and Remedies. Ms. Tijam received her Juris Doctor, with honors, in December 2017, and was admitted to practice law in June 2018.

Personal:
Ms. Tijam was raised in a military family. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym, dancing, attending concerts, and watching the Los Angeles Lakers.
